Where I have worked

Work

I am driven by passion and shared values, by technology challenges, and by the chance to make an impact. Most of all, I am driven by the people.

  1. Multiverse

    2026 to presentEd tech
    Why I joined

I joined because its vision matches mine: AI should empower people to do their best work and grow their careers. I wanted to help others get from AI what it has given mine, a real boost.

    What I took

Ideas spread by inspiration, not instruction. I share what I build, and I learn as much from what others make as they take from mine.

  2. Carpata

    2025 to 2026Vehicle data
    Why I joined

An old industry that digital tools had barely reached, with real problems to solve. I joined to help two founders bring it the optimisation other industries already enjoy, because technology is there to make an impact.

    What I took

That I thrive on complex problems with real impact. Reality always surprises you, so being ready to think quickly matters more than the plan.

  3. SIGBI

    2024 to 2025Charity, LGBTQ+ inclusion
    Why I joined

This one was close to home. The charity opens more spaces for the LGBTQ+ community and helps organisations show they are inclusive, and I was thrilled to contribute to something that could help my community.

    What I took

Constraints sharpen the work. I enjoyed fitting a tight budget and a small team's capacity, and delivering more than the brief asked for.

  4. PrimaryBid

    2021 to 2024Fintech, investing
    Why I joined

I am passionate about personal finance, and I wanted the markets to be part of my daily work. I was drawn by the company's values, kindness among them, and by its mission to open the market to retail investors like me. I liked building a product for people like me, in a business achieving something new every week.

    What I took

My first big platform, and a close view of what happens when a start-up becomes a scale-up, in the platform and in the company. I came away understanding how to build platforms at scale, alongside people who cared about doing it well.

  5. Wealthsimple

    2020 to 2021Fintech, personal finance
    Why I joined

I wanted to work in the finance world I had been reading about, and Wealthsimple makes it simple for people to get their finances together and take part in the system.

    What I took

A small, collaborative team of strong engineers who looked after each other through the pandemic, and the chance to go deep on the technologies I was aiming at. It set my career moving in the right direction.

  6. Where it started

2014 to 2019Start-ups, Madrid and London
    Settled, London, proptech

My first company in London, a start-up finding its product-market fit, and where my product mindset got a full workout. I became full stack, found the artistic side of engineering in building UI, and joined brainstorming workshops and team building. I still use those lessons today. By then my entrepreneurial side was ready to jump into ideas.

    Leadclic, Madrid, Salesforce partner

I began shipping to production straight away, including an experiment integrating a back end with Salesforce for a restaurant chain, which is still running today. A colleague there, now a friend, became my mentor and made me fall in love with this career.

    Junglear, Madrid

My first company, co-founded with fellow students while still at university. It let me apply what I had learned to a real system, and it triggered the entrepreneurial mindset I had always had.

Building spaces for people to dance

Sanura Dance

My Latin American roots gave me an urge to dance for real, and I saw a gap in the market, so in January 2023 I started Sanura Dance, the only FLINTA-focused salsa and bachata space for the dance community. It brought together my entrepreneurial, product-minded side and my tech skills. I built the infrastructure myself and polished every flow, because a happy user is a returning user. Technology shaped it from marketing automations to agentic workflows, alongside leadership and a product mindset, and it has grown every year. The best part is the people. I get to work outside my industry with artists whose talent is nothing like mine, and I love admiring it.

What stays with me is the community. I have seen people give back to something that gives them so much, and share it with others, humanity at its most caring. The space has given many people in London a chance to try something that was not accessible to them before. It may be the most meaningful thing I will do, and I am honoured to have contributed. I want it to outlive me.

LBTQWomen

The pandemic showed me I was missing community, and LBTQWomen was the community I was looking for. I met its founder at a networking event, we connected straight away, and I offered to take things on. Since October 2023 I have co-led this international digital network for LBTQ women as tech lead, looking after the platform and events. It has put me in rooms with people I would never have met otherwise.

The importance of a network. Being connected to like-minded people has made a real difference to my life, my wellbeing and my career, and I am grateful to the people who inspire me.

So many people are looking for somewhere they belong, and it is the love of contributing back that lets everyone find themselves among the crowd. It is beautiful to see people support each other, and I want to keep seeing my community thrive.

About

Away from the screen, I am usually on a bike. It is how I see London, and I do not feel complete without one. Weekends mean a hike, or a train somewhere new and a day on foot, then home for a cacio e pepe, because it is easy and delicious, and a round of Mario with my wife.

My current thing is card games. For years I kicked myself for not knowing any, so I got a book, and now I even have a Spanish deck to learn the Spanish games.

I learn a lot from podcasts and videos, about leadership, finance, psychology and the state of the world, and I film my adventures, mostly for friends. To empty my brain, I watch Celebrity Traitors and scroll through reels from my siblings.

I am spontaneous about trips, and a little impulsive. I rent a car, find the sea and snorkel somewhere clear. The Galapagos, part of my home country, Ecuador, is my favourite. In Menorca I went looking for an octopus, convinced they are smart since My Octopus Teacher. China is next, a place I am curious to see as a capital of technology.
